Now that we are entering the winter golf season and the days are getting shorter and the temperatures are dropping the growth of the grass will slow down. We have had a great summer and will continue to maintain the conditions, throughout the winter months, by keeping up with the fertilizer and weed control.
In late November to early December, we will apply a light overseeding to the tees, we did this last year, too. This application will assist in recovery, density, and the overall playability of the tees throughout the busy winter months.
We sincerely want to thank all of you for your patience and support, especially over the last few weeks, as we completed the final projects in preparation for the season. We are very excited about the progress that has been made and look forward to another great season of golf here at the Club.
Sincerely,
Buck Deibel Kenton Gamache
Director of Golf Golf Course Superintendent
